2013 Las Vegas Nightclub & Bar Show

Thirteen years ago I attended my first Nightclub & Bar Tradeshow in Las Vegas.  That trip was supposed to be 100% research but ended up 10% research and 90% party.  I mean, come on, free booze, free food, free shows, free everything!  Really!  However, I did – in between shots, shows, DJ’s and just taking it all in – learn there was absolutely nothing available anywhere on that trade show floor related to bouncers or their profession.

Fast forward to next week at the 2013 Las Vegas Nightclub & Bar Show.  At this upcoming show, we will be releasing our new website, our unparalleled online bouncer training programs, and our informational blog.  Included in all of this is a jam-packed schedule for me.

Starting on Tuesday, March 19th from 2:10 to 3:00 in room N115, I will be presenting a large training session titled; “Increase Profits by Changing Your Security Mindset”.  Later that afternoon I’ll be visiting two clients just off the strip to conduct an annual security procedures review.

That night, I’ll be hitting the show Kick-Off Party at the Caesars Palace Pool, then off to the Bellagio party at HYDE, then back to Caesars for another sanctioned party at Pure.

On Wednesday, March 20th, I will be starting way to early; 8:30 in the morning to be exact.  For those of us in the nightclub industry, that’s much earlier than what we are used to.  I’m on the Advisory Board for the Nightclub & Bar Media Group and we have our annual meeting first thing in the morning.  After the meeting, you see me running to the tradeshow floor to be in my booth for the thousands of attendees who’ll be visiting.

If you’re attending the convention, come stop by our booth to say hello and check out what we offer. I’ll be at Number 529.  You’ll be able to take a look at our online training services and to sign up for one of many FREE National HOST Premium bouncer training sessions.  We’ll also have some handouts available and will be offering discounted online training sessions for sale.  And I am always happy to answer any questions you have about bouncer and security training.

Towards the end of the day from 3-4 pm, I’ll be at the Nightclub & Bar Resource Center in booth Number 711.  This appearance is to allow for pre-scheduled one on one conversation between industry experts and the attendees with issues they would like advice on.

That night, if I have the energy, I’ll be hitting the party’s at Gilley’s and Senor Frogs at Treasure Island, then off to the Cosmopolitan to have a shot at Marquee.  There are also plenty of other parties to choose from.  It is a nightlife convention after all.

Finally, on Thursday, I’ll be in my booth all day meeting and talking to operators about our programs and services.  That night, one more night to visit a couple nice clubs.  The first stop will be at Tryst at the Wynn, then off to Begatelle in Tropicana.  Then, back to my hotel to pass out.

Hope to see you there!
